Tryon Street: Window Shopping

Today we decided to take a break from demo and check out some furniture stores in Durham, NC. We knew we weren't going to walk away with any big purchases just yet, but we wanted to get some creative juices flowing as we begin to think about schemes.

We stumbled across a shop we had never heard of before but instantly fell in love with. Patina is a quaint little shop that sells both new and vintage pieces, including everything from lighting to original artwork and accessories. In addition to their store, Patina also has a small team of designers that offer interior design services as well.

Everyone was so excited to hear about our project. As we walked through the store, we shared pictures and videos of the house and pointed out several pieces that we could envision working well in the space.

Another great thing about Patina is that they are constantly getting in new items, sometimes selling them via Instagram before they even make it into the store! If you are in the Durham area and looking for new furniture or accessories, then I highly recommend you give Patina a follow on Instagram.

While we could have taken home the entire store today, we will definitely be returning to Patina once we are a little further along in the process. Until then, it's back to demo!
